The Space Shuttle is retiring soon, and will be replaced with a new rocket called Constellation. The kids went to Kennedy Space Center in Florida to check out the new spacecraft.

Discovery blasts off!
It’s the final night launch of the Space Shuttle. The kids gave Discovery a proper send-off by throwing a street party. Aren, Iden and Erysse live less than an hour’s drive from Kennedy Space Center and they could see the launch from their driveway.
