Ever wonder where that delicious fresh fish comes from? The Elliott kids know.

We met Books Takenaka, assistant general manager at the United Fishing Agency early in the morning to see the freshest catch in Hawaii. The place was crowded with fish and serious fish buyers like George Mavrothalassitis, chef/proprietor of Honolulu’s top-rated Chef Mavro restaurant.

Check out the fresh catch of the day. We had breakfast at Nico’s at Pier 38 where fresh fish and eggs are always on the menu.

The Elliott kids try the legendary Sprinkles cupcakes in Beverly Hills. They were good. Real good.

Erysse tries a date shake at Oasis Date Gardens in Thermal, Calif. Oasis is a 175-acre working date ranch with lots of free samples that had to be tried.

The kids toured the historical Graber Olives property in Ontario, Calif., with their grandparents. Olive season starts in October.

Daytona Beach, Fla.

The kids dropped by Angell & Phelps, the famous chocolate factory in Daytona Beach, today. The hardest part? Deciding between the chocolate pretzels and the chocolate-covered potato chips.
